Himes, Charles Russell “Squeek”, 74, Huntingdon, passed away September 27, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born February 11, 1948, Mount Union, son of the late Harry and Phyllis (Conway) Himes. Survived by children, Amity Geddes and husband, Derek, Swansboro NC; and Jared Himes, Huntingdon; two grandchildren, Brady and Carter Geddes; and brother, Robert Himes; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by infant son, Charles R. Himes Jr.; siblings, Emma Ryan, Russell Himes, and Harry “Pete” Himes. Charles attended Mount Union High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Charles enjoyed hunting and NASCAR. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family. Family and friends will be received on Saturday October 1, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for visitation followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
