Betty Louise Muckle, 74, of Mapleton, passed away on July 20, 2026, at Penn Highlands, Huntingdon. Born March 25, 1952, daughter of the late Harry and Betty Jane (Wagner) Beatty. She is also preceded in death by husband, Donald Blair Muckle; son, Joshua Muckle; sisters, Margaret Bookwalter, and DeeDee Kester. Mrs. Muckle is survived by sons; Kenneth Muckle, Donald (Wendy) Muckle, Christopher Muckle, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. Betty cherished spending time with her family, especially gathering around the table to share meals and make memories together. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including reading, playing Bingo, Yahtzee, shuffleboard and relaxing outside while enjoying the beauty of the weather. She also loved collecting salt and pepper shakers, Indian dolls, and dreamcatchers. She was always thoughtful and compassionate; she found joy in caring for others.
