Betty L. Conner

Conner, Betty L., 90, Mount Union, passed away December 14, 2022, at her home. Born April 22, 1932, Mount Union, daughter of the late John and Ella (Secrest) Welch. Preceded in death by her first husband, William “Billy” Whitsel who passed away in 1952. She married Frank “Pete” Conner who passed away in 2008. Surviving are her two daughters, Sandra Murphy and husband, Randall of Shade Gap and Vickie Heidel of Three Springs; 4 grandchildren, Randall Murphy Jr. and wife Stephanie, Stacie Ulsh and husband Howard, Ron Heidel and wife Terri, and Dave Heidel; 9 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; sisters, Ella Grace Smith and Wanda Horne; and a brother, Benny Welch; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Conner; and by three brothers, John, Jim, and Barry Welch. Betty enjoyed mowing her grass, her dog Bear, and spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 11a.m. until the 1p.m. funeral service at the funeral home, Joseph Barrett, officiant.
