Michina, Annie A., 62, Cresson, died Dec. 5, 2015, at home. Born Oct. 12, 1953, in Germany, daughter of the late Arthur and Violet (White) Smith. Preceded in death by brother, Arnie. Survived by husband, Dennis J. Sr., whom she married Sept. 3, 1971; sons: Scott Michina (girlfriend, Amy Carruthers), Hollidaysburg; and D.J. Michina (Bridget Sorichetti), Cresson; grandchildren: Sarah Michina, Altoona and Lauren, Logan and Luke Michina, Cresson; great-granddaughter, Ellie; brother, Kevin, Lilly; and her beloved dog, Cocoa. Annie had been employed as a waitress at Cresson Springs Restaurant for several years, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and shopping. Family and friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Rev. Leo Arnone. Committal, church cemetery.
