Obituary

Ahles, Amanda M., 37, Cresson Township, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born July 17, 1988, Altoona, daughter of Gary F. and Karen L. (Dobbie) Ahles. In addition to her parents, Amanda is also survived by her sisters, Carrie (Brian) Conrad, Nicole Panick (Shawn Young); nephews, Kyle Conrad, Seth Conrad, Carter Panick, and Cole Conrad; her significant other, Todd Branas; special friends, Kyra and Dylan Young; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Amanda was known for being social and kind to everyone she met. She loved being able to keep in touch with all her friends through social media and talking on the phone. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and Candy Crush. She also loved to keep up with and support the local fire departments. Amanda was a coffee enthusiast, often found with a cup of coffee in her hands. Most importantly, Amada cherished spending time with her family and nephews, especially when she was able to watch them play sports. Friends and family will be received Monday, April 27, 2026, from 3-7 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11 a.m., St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville, Fr. Jeremy Mohler celebrant. Committal at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, "Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care."
