Goshsorn, Alberta Yvonne (Haught), 76, Mount Union, passed away November 8, 2020. Born October 27, 1944, Uniontown, daughter of the late Rev. Albert M. and Clara E. (Swartswelter) Haught. Survived by her loving husband, Eugene Raymond Goshorn. Also survived by stepchildren, David Goshorn, Sharon Goshorn, Kelly Ann Brewer and brother-in-law, Randall Goshorn. Alberta was a member of the Stone Church of the Brethren, Huntingdon. She was a graduate of Captain Jack Highschool Class of 1962. Alberta furthered her education at Juniata College receiving a bachelor’s degree of Library Science and a master’s degree in Library Science from The University of Pittsburgh. She worked at the Huntingdon County Library and the Altoona Library over the course of her career. Alberta was a volunteer and member of the Huntingdon County Historical Society. She was also fond of her two cats, Paul and Lois. Other interests and hobbies included, genealogy, writing, reading and crossword puzzles. Alberta co-authored Images of America: JC Blair Memorial Hospital, 100th Anniversary Commemorative Edition, with Nancy Swigart Shedd. Friends and family will be received on Monday November 16, 2020 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at the Mount Union Cemetery, Lay-Minister Joseph Barrett and Pastor Ben Lattimer, co-officiants with music provided by Marty Keeney. An additional memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family at the Stone Church of the Brethren, 1623 Moore Street Huntingdon, PA 16652. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
