Biter, A. Charlotte, 78, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord January 28, 2019 at Amber Hills at Cambria Care Center. Born May 17, 1940, Wildwood, Gallitzin Twp., daughter of the late Jesse A. and Alice J. (Trexler) Wright, Sr. She married her husband of 60 years, Donald J Biter, Sr., on her birthday May 17, 1958. She was the former owner of Cresson Crafts, Cresson Pizza, C&D Ceramics, Charlotte's Floral Shoppe, and Red Brick Manor. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ramona R. Biter; grandson, Jeremy J. Biter; half siblings, Harold T. Wright; Madge W. Noel; and Annabelle W. Murtiff. She is survived by her husband; children, Donald J., Jr. (Sue Luther), FL; Carla and Randy (Chris Kissel), both of Cresson; Ronald (Trisha Szpala), Ashville; and Steven (Chad Pysher), Johnstown; grandchildren, Casey Biter, Jessica Buck, Sara Cameron, Jonathan Biter, Evan Biter, Ryan Biter, Cody Biter; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Jesse A. Wright, Jr. (Helen O'Donnell); sisters, Betty Rose Plowman, and Thelma L. Biter (Robert); and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. Family and friends will be received Friday, February 1 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 2 at 10 a.m., Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, Fr. John Byrnes, celebrant.
