Walter "Sonny" Nadolsky, Jr.

Nadolsky, Jr., Walter “Sonny”, 87, Lilly, went home to be with the Lord, May 22, 2019 at Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg. Born November 19, 1931, Lilly, son of the late Walter and Martha (Martynuska) Nadolsky, Sr. Preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Survived by his loving wife, June E. (Steiger); children, Ron Nadolsky and wife, Joanna, Hollidaysburg; Bill Nadolsky and wife, Marilyn, GA; Jim Nadolsky and wife, Brenda; and Sandee Smith and husband, Mike, all of Lilly; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a Goddaughter, Anna Molnaird. Sonny was a member of the Lilly Sokol’s Club, Lilly PNA, and the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed Polka dancing, bowling, traveling, and playing pinochle. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, May 29 from 7-9 p.m. at Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 30, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel, 5377 Portage St., Lilly, Fr. Kevin Queally, T.O.R., celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Garvey Manor Resident Activity Fund, 1037 S. Logan Blvd, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 or to the American Cancer Society, 1004 N.
