Martha "Sue" Glass

Glass, Martha “Sue”, 90, Mount Union, passed away September 17, 2019 at her home. Born December 15, 1928, Semora, NC, daughter of the late Alexander and Martha Sue (Falkner) Glass. Preceded in death by brothers, Willie, Ernest, Early, Herbert, Collin and Warren Glass; sisters, Alice Whitlock, Gennie Marshall, Mary Featherstone, Matilda Owens, Cinderella Lucas, and Augusta Chambers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Sue enjoyed gardening, decorating, cooking and listening to spiritual music. She was an avid fan of Tyler Perry and his movies. Sue will be forever remembered for her fierce cheesecake. She was a cherished member of the Baptist faith. Friends and family will be received Sunday, September 22 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m., Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, Pastor Harold Chambers and Pastor Charles Reily, co-officiants. Interment Mount Union Cemetery.
