King, Michael “Mike” D., 54, Mount Union, passed away at his home surrounded by his family October 31, 2019 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born March 17, 1965, Huntingdon, son of Kenneth and Darlene “Chunk” (Ramey) King. Preceded in death by his father and brother, Shawn King. Survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Harkleroad), whom he married on August 23, 1986; sons, Shawn King and wife Richelle; Derek King and wife, Hanna, all of Mount Union; grandchildren, Espen and Ean King; and siblings, Tammy King and companion, Clair Kester; Jodi Booher and husband, Todd, all of Mount Union. Mike worked at New Holland for 15 years and most recently, Letterkenny Army Depot, where he worked for 14 years. He loved his job and his friends he made at Letterkenny. Mike was fond of spending time with his friends, sons, grandchildren and his loving wife. He enjoyed cutting wood with his son, Shawn, riding motorcycles and hanging out with his Wrangletown buddies. Mike was especially proud of his son, Derek who is a freshman in pharmacy graduate school. He will be deeply missed. At Mike’s request, all services will be private.
