Stohon, Stanley M. “Stush”, 66, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord, February 18, 2019 at his home. Born October 29, 1952, Johnstown, son of the late Walter and Caroline (Kraus) Stohon. Preceded in death by brothers, Edward and Walter; sisters, Helen Haney, Elaine Yeckly, and Wanda Stohon; infant brother and sister; and father-in-law, Raymond Watt. Survived by his loving wife, Janet (Watt); daughter, Dana Stohon; son, Jeffrey (Nicole Lee) Stohon; grandchildren, Hayden and Izzy; brothers, Leonard, David, Robert, and Ronald; sister, Bernadette Michaels; mother-in-law, Regina Watt; step-mother, Mary Stohon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Stush was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Univar, Altoona after 30+ years of service. Stush enjoyed fishing, bingo, and helping others out at Keystone Truck Stop in Munster. Friends and family will be received Friday, February 22, from 2-8 p.m. at Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 23, 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Rev. Leo Arnone, celebrant, and the Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, concelebrant. Committal St. Aloysius Cemetery. Military honors provided by the Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW and other local military posts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Catholic School, 220 Powell Ave, Cresson, PA, or Family Hospice & Palliative Care, in memory of Stan.
