Keiser, Sr., Howard W., 72, Lewistown, passed away September 18, 2019 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. Born July 5, 1947, McVeytown, son of the late Guy H. and Mary L. (Cramer) Keiser, Jr. Preceded in death by an infant brother, Johny. Survived by his loving wife, Helen S. (Souders); children, Howard “Howie” Keiser, Jr. and wife, Keya, Lewistown; Jeffrey Keiser and wife Julana, Northfield, NJ; and Lori Lane and husband, Neil, McVeytown; grandchildren, Matt, Annie, Zachary, Amber, Caitlin, Brooke, Josh, Chelsea, Daisy, Steven, and Shelby; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Forgy; Dave Keiser, Sr.; and Richard “Dickey” Keiser. Howard was employed at Standard Steel in Burnham for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends cooking steaks and hot sausages. Howard also enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling to visit family. He was a member of the Lewistown Moose Lodge 143 and the United Steelworkers Union. Friends and family will be received Saturday, September 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union. Funeral services will be held following the gathering of friends and family at the Germany Valley Cemetery, Shirleysburg at 11:30 a.m., Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant.
